Beautiful but never boring

It’s not style over substance…think style and substance. I blend Graphic design and instructional design together seamlessly, to create learning experiences that leave a lasting impression.

We’re talking functional, beautiful design that supports and enhances learning content, elevates interactivity and showcases your brand.

With you from start to finish and everything inbetween

Whether you’re starting from scratch with just an idea, or need a revamp of your existing learning, I support with the full end-to-end instructional design process. From scoping to storyboarding, all the way up to design, development and delivery.

Each project is unique, therefore I work closely with you to discuss your needs, expectations and explore your existing resources, to enable us to create a learning experience that is tailored to you.

The Swiss army knife of learning design

So what makes me different from other learning designers? I combine three skillsets to make my learning experiences stand out from the rest.

  • With a degree in illustration, I spent years refining my skills in digital design, therefore when creating my learning experiences I have a keen eye for UI design, layout, typography, colour and accessibility. I can create custom imagery, icons and graphics to take your learning from mundane, to magnificent.

  • As a certified professional in digital learning design, I have a sound knowledge of adult learning theory, multimedia principles and instructional design models. These form the basis of my practice, allowing me to create engaging, effective learning which supports retention. Most importantly I believe in writing learning content which feels relatable. No gimmicks. I’m talking tapping into the ‘what’s in if for me’ with real-world scenarios, relevant content and thought provoking reflective activities.

  • I love nothing more than bringing a storyboard to life! Whilst I specialise in Articulate Rise and Storyline, I can flex my skillset to meet your needs. It is my aim to push the software to the limits, to create courses that don’t feel like ‘traditional’ eLearning, whilst maintaining accessibility and functionality of course!
